Overheard from my apartment

Here's an except from an argument I heard last night around 4am:

Guy 1: "You're a racist, dude" (repeat a few times)
Guy 2: "I'll punch you in the face" (repeat with variety a few times)

I realized as their voices drifted off, that they were continuing to walk together anyway. I'm left to wonder if their argument ever escalated, or if it just petered off.
